While at market, we saw so many new collections that it was hard to keep them all straight. Everywhere you turned there was something wonderful to see, and then, of course, we had the difficult task of deciding what to order for the store. Among the new companies that we selected were My Little Shoebox and Piggy Tales. Aside from having wonderful products, these companies impressed us with their welcoming personalities. We think they offer something new to our store, fresh looks, fun products, and tons of potential.
My Little Shoebox's In the Garden and A Little Birdie Told Me combine pinks, greens, and browns in adorable floral papers, die cuts, and chipboard buttons and letters. They also offer foam letters.
Piggy Tales always names their collections after fairy tales and nursery rhymes. We thought that Tortoise and the Hare and Ole King Cole were too cute to pass up. Ole King Cole is my favorite! Look at all those guitars and MP3 players! Perfect for teenagers or Guitar Hero fanatics of all ages.
Just when we get caught up, the UPS or FedEX truck pulls up bringing us more new products. In the last week, we've received shipments from Maya Road, Webster's Pages, Best Creations, Basic Grey, and Scenic Route.
Maya Road sent us new acrylic stamps and chipboard shapes. Each key-chain holds several chipboard pieces from specific themes like boy, girl, and Christmas. They are perfect to decorate mini-albums, papercraft projects, and scrapbook pages.
The new papers from Best Creations are Christmas and Wedding themed. They are glittered or flocked, double-sided, and very beautiful.
Basic Grey's new collections are shipping in installments. Arriving this month were Ambrosia (look in the photo album "More Images from CHA" for pictures from their booth), Eva, and Offbeat. As usual, I want to just frame some of these papers on my wall. The color palettes are beautiful enough to inspire redecorating my entire house (or just dream about it).
The papers from Webster's Pages are gorgeous colors and patterns too. The Christmas line is cute, but still grown-up. And the other collections would work for a variety of themes.
We picked three new lines from Scenic Route: Appleton (school themed), Surprise (birthday), and Sonoma (pretty floral). Each collection includes stickers, buttons, and chipboard shapes. Additionally, we have an assortment of their letter stickers and clear stamps.
Dream Street Papers is one of the companies that caught our eye during the July show. They mix great prints and funky colors to create really unique paper lines. The three that arrived today are Carma, Mairzy Doats, and Wonderland. Carma combines florals & stripes with animal prints. Mairzy Doats, my favorite line, features green, brown, cream, and a splash of red. The florals are beautiful but not over-powering. Wonderland is a festively fun Christmas line with some non-traditional colors: pink, light blue, and lime green. And how cute are those snowmen and reindeer?
Maybe you are an avid stamper looking for something new, or maybe you are new to stamping & trying to build a collection without going broke. Either way, you should come by and see our new acrylic stamps from Inkadinkado and Hampton Art. Most of them are value priced (just $1 - $2)! They include humorous images and sayings that would be perfect for cardmaking or scrapbooking. And if the stamps weren't enough of a bargain, there are stamp blocks and ink pads for $1 too! Just think, even if you've never stamped before, you could get all the supplies you need to get started for just $3. These items would make fantastic back-to-school gifts for teachers or (gasp! Is it that time already?) stocking-stuffers. There are limited supplies of these items, so don't wait to come by.
Below are pictures of the circular stamps from Inkadinkado (along with a circular stamping block, just to make things easy). Also new from them: autumn images, cats, dogs, and swirls.

Perfect for the little boys in your life, Three Bugs in a Rug's Playtime and Cosmo Cricket's Jack's World feature rockets, sailboats, zoo animals, and fanciful colors. These papers are also double-sided to give you even more scrapping potential.
Looking for something spooky? Cosmo Crickets's Haunted line is full of traditional halloween colors and fun icons: skeletons, cats, ravens, and bats. Their papers are double sided with a slight distressed look that makes this line less cartoonish than your average halloween.
Three Bugs in a Rug is already in the holiday spirit with their Autumn and Oh What Fun lines for fall and Christmas. Some pages included large images, perfect for 12x12 layouts, while others are covered with small images that card makers will love. All the papers are double-sided for even more options.
It has only been one week since Paula returned from market, but the new items are already starting to arrive. We've received the first installment of MR CAMPY from Cosmo Cricket. If you've spent any time outdoor this summer, then you'll definitely want some of this amazing paper. Also new, CR Gibson albums for baby and kids arrived today. Looking forward to fall and winter? Get in the mood with the amazing new papers, stickers, and embellishments from Reminisce. And we hope the new lines from Imaginisce to show up sometime this week. Stay posted to learn about all the new goodies.
